Job Description
A Connecticut licensed home health service company specializing in complex chronic care, is seeking a RN Director of Nursing/Client Services for our Region.

The position is responsible for ensuring quality and appropriateness of service to all clients, and for maintaining a high level of client satisfaction. The position will be knowledgeable and compliant with all applicable laws and regulations to which we may be subject. By ensuring service and satisfaction standards, the position spearheads high levels of “Word of Mouth” referrals and budget goals.

Authority and Responsibilities: Dependent on the size of the office, the RN Director of Nursing/Client Services may directly perform some or all of the activities associated with these responsibilities below.

The position includes, but is not limited to, the following:

Ensures Clinical competence/excellence

Responsible for maintaining Professional/Paraprofessional productivity and margins within budget goals

Responsible to maximize services for revenue growth by reviewing and approving all cases and potential care plans

Ensures superior customer service

Adheres to all policies, procedures and standards set forth by the company, state and federal regulations

Anticipates, identifies and reports in a timely manner on areas of potential risk; and plans their resolution or prevention

Consults with Executive Director and Corporate Leadership staff as appropriate

Performs any other activities as directed by the Company


Requirements
Qualifications:

Experience: Minimum of three years experience in eldercare or related field, including supervisory experience Clinical Degree(s) in the areas of Nursing, Social Work, Long Term Care or Gerontology, preferably with homecare, care management experience

Solid community and professional reputation Knowledge of community resources Experience in a high-end service business

Attributes and Skills: Enthusiastic, Positive Thinking, an effective communicator A collaborator with experience in a team-based approach to client care
