Supportive personnel work under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist, assisting in the various activities of the pharmacy department not requiring the professional judgment of a registered pharmacist, thus allowing for the proper care of our pediatric through geriatric patients while at Florida Medical Center. Medication preparation, compounding, delivery, crediting, charging and inventory ordering are among some of the tasks the pharmacy technician is required to perform.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS (including required licenses/certifications, education and job knowledge/experience):
Registered with the Florida Board of Pharmacy
Excellent communication skills
Verbal, numerical, computer applications
Good people skills, positive, motivated and enthusiastic
