The operations analyst will serve an essential role for the Data Strategy Operational Analytics Team by ensuring accurate and timely analyses for the companyï¿½s key initiatives. This person will be responsible for data collection, interpretation and analysis, and deliverables in varying mediums. The operations analyst will focus on preparing data analytics and publishing reports dedicated to operational reporting, financial reporting, and clinical utilization. The operations analyst will assist in building automated reports and streamlining data analytics. The candidate will create informative, actionable and repeatable reporting that highlights relevant business trends and opportunities for improvement. He/She will all also conduct insightful, ad hoc analyses to investigate ongoing or one-time operational issues. The operations analyst is expected to interpret, evaluate and interrelate research data and develop integrated business analyses and projections for incorporation into strategic decision-making.
BBA, MBA, or MHA in Finance, Business Administration, Computer Science, or Healthcare or related field preferred.
Tableau experience preferred.
SQL or SPSS experience preferred.
Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Access.
Solid analytical and problem solving skills are a must. The selected candidate will have a demonstrated ability to synthesize data and interpret data.
Excellent interpersonal skills; a dedicated listener, comfortable in a variety of settings dealing with diverse constituencies.
The ability to communicate clearly and effectively both verbally and in writing.
Ability to work well under pressure effectively managing time and tasks.
Works effectively within the department and across departments as a pro-active team member.
