J OB SUMMARY:
The Dental Assistant provides care and support to patients under the direction of the physician and/or mid-level provider. The Dental Assistant contributes to the planning and delivery of patient focused care as well as some registration duties.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required
- Must Dental Assistant Diploma or Certification
- In the last three- (3) years, one (1) year experience as a Certified Dental Assistant in a clinic or acute care setting preferred
- Must have a Dental Assistant Diploma or Certification
- Current CPR certification preferred
- X-Ray Certified
