Summary

This position is responsible for providing primary and emergency care for occupational and non-occupational injuries and illnesses, dispensing over-the-counter and prescription medications as ordered, performing required health assessments for specified programs at the Western Refinery Clinic. The RN will promote the health and safety of all Western Refinery personnel through an ongoing occupational health program and provide clinical support to the Workers� Compensation and Safety programs. Other responsibilities include: assisting with Team Member health promotions, education and training programs, and identifying workers' compensation cases, assisting with maintenance and documentation of workers' compensation files, and performing other duties as the need arises.

Job Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing
• Bachelor�s of Science in Nursing Preferred

Licenses/Certifications:

• Current license to practice as a registered nurse in the state of employment

• BLS required, Instructor Certification preferred

Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:

• At least 1 year of experience in the performance of nursing skills relative to the role. Occupation Health Nursing preferred

• NIOSH-PFT training/KAOHC training every 5 years within 6 months of hire

• Problem-solving and organizational skills
• Standard computer skills
