The Oklahoma City Veterans Affairs Medical Center is seeking an Infectious Disease (Supervisory) Physician to join the Medicine Service. The Physician will be responsible for on-call duties and supervising affiliated medical Residents from University of Oklahoma Medical Science Center. VA offers a comprehensive total rewards package. The Oklahoma City VAHCS also has a total of 14 outpatient clinics located in Ada, Altus, Ardmore, Blackwell, Enid, Norman, Oklahoma City, Stillwater, and Wichita Falls. Through our partnership with DOD, we also have clinics on Fort Sill Army Base in Comanche County and on Tinker Air Force Base in Oklahoma County. The Oklahoma City VAHCS is a tertiary care facility, classified as a VA complexity level rating of 1b. The Oklahoma City VAHCS has specialized programs including Mental Health Intensive Case Management (MHICM), Reaching Out to Educate and Assist Health Care Families (REACH), Compensated Work Therapy, Center for Alzheimer and Neurodegenerative Diseases (CANDO), and Animal Assisted Therapy. The Oklahoma City VAHCS is a part of VA Network 19, which includes facilities in Colorado, Oklahoma, Montana, Utah and Wyoming.
