The primary purpose of this position is to provide direct patient care and care coordination, as it pertains, to patients and their care within the Emergency Department/Urgent Care Clinic (ED/UCC) at the Mann-Grandstaff VA Medical Center in Spokane, Washington. The ED/UCC RN reports directly to the ED/UCC nurse manager. Duties include but are not limited to: This staff nurse is directly responsible to the UCC Nurse Manager or Nursing Supervisor for clinical practice in delivery of patient care in the Urgent Care Center Demonstrates exceptional skills in work planning, observation, dependability, and communication. Documents and reports care appropriately. Ability to lead and supervise nursing personnel in care delivery areas. Provides and promotes positive customer service. Must be able to adjust to ever changing work environment. Work Schedule: Variable day tours, 8:00 am to 8:30 pm, may include weekends and holidays Compressed/Flexible: Available Telework: Not Available Virtual: This is not a virtual position.
