SUMMARY OF POSITION:
Serves as operational support to the Director of Respiratory Care and other departmental leaders. Responsible to work with the Director of Respiratory Care to provide ongoing, effective, and efficient daily operational oversight in all areas of assigned responsibility to include clinical units, equipment support services, patient care areas and other areas as appropriate. Responsible for developing initiatives to meet the changing needs of the organization with oversight from the Director of Respiratory Care. Interfaces with appropriate organizational and departmental leadership to coordinate and meet shared organizational goals. Utilize pertinent information in the development of policies, procedures and training to enhance service, quality and cost for assigned areas. Where appropriate, must be familiar with PSHMC policies, procedures and systems.
5-10 years clinical experience required.
5 years experience in leadership/management experience.
Progressive leadership experience required.
Currently licensed to practice as a Respiratory Therapy by the Pennsylvania Board of Medicine.
