Lung Center of Nevada, a division of Comprehensive Cancer Centers of Nevada is a team of board-certified pulmonologists , respiratory therapists, nurse practitioners, and administrative support staff who are dedicated to our patients and providing quality care. The division is dedicated to diagnosing, treating, and educating adult patients with lung diseases and sleep disorders.
Career Opportunity: Comprehensive Cancer Centers of Nevada has an exciting opportunity for a Supervisor of Sleep Lab Services at our Sunset Pulmonology clinic, located in Las Vegas, Nevada. The Supervisor of Sleep Lab Services will oversee a team of polysomnograph technicians as well as the overall day-to-day function of the sleep lab. In this role, you will work with some of the best physicians in their fields while providing care to patients in a successful health care organization.
Responsibilities: ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Day-to-day supervision of the sleep lab to maintain high quality, safe delivery of care
Supervise polysomnography tech staff, training and competency evaluation
Assist with scoring tests; send raw data to outsourcing service for analysis via transfer software
Assign patient files to interpreting physicians
Provide support to physicians and Advanced Practice Providers (APPs)
Perform data management of the data server to ensure proper flow of patient files
Perform day time studies, CPAP set-up, DME orders
Oversees equipment maintenance and orders supplies
Oversight of safety and regulatory guidelines
Assures program meets accreditation and regulatory standards
Certificate of graduation from an accredited program for Polysomnography Technicians preferred
Minimum of 5 years polysomnography experience preferred
At least 1 year previous supervisory experience preferred
Must maintain current BLS/CPR certification
