Summary

The perioperative coordinator is a registered nurse who, using critical thinking skills, coordinates the clinical activities within a specific unit and collaborates with other members of the health care team. She/he directly and indirectly supervises the care rendered by ancillary staff. She/he assumes house supervision duties as assigned.

Education

• Required: Associate's Degree
• Preferred: Bachelors degree preferred

Experience

• Required: Three (3) to Five (5) years of relevant experience.

Required Certifications/License

• License: RNs must be currently licensed
• Certifications: BLS/CPR (AMERICAN HEART ASSN)
