Atlantic Health System is seeking a per diem Invasive Cardiovascular Tech for Cardiac Catheterization Lab to work 7-5pm including on-call as required by the department at Newton Medical Center.

Essential Functions:

• Prepare and prep for cardiac caths, PCI(STEMI and peripheral vascular procedures
• Able to monitor, document and calculate hemodynamic data
• Provide procedural assistance to physician, pre, intra and post procedure
• Assess and manage access site, and inform physician
• Adhere to On call protocol for Cath lab
• Prepare patient for procedures
• Make recommendations to supervisor on related duties, policies, and procedures

Qualifications:

Minimum Education:

• High School Diploma or GED required

Education:

• Graduate of a CAAHEP or ABHES accredited Cardiovascular Technology program (or within six months)

License/Certification:

• RCIS certification preferred
• BLS, ACLS & IABP experience preferred

Relevant Experience:

• Cardiac Cath lab experience preferred
