Atlantic Health System is seeking a part-time Phlebotomist II in the Laboratory Outreach Program, to work 8am - 4pm two days per week.
Outreach Phlebotomy Program requires an experienced Phlebotomy Technician with excellent customer service skills to work with in a Patient Service Centers in Greenbrook and Hillsborough.
Must be able to work independently as well as with a team along with being able to travel from site to site as needed. Must contributes to the Atlantic Health's mission by drawing blood from patients and collecting and documenting specimens based on physician orders. This clinical staff position is the face of the lab and their effort starts the whole laboratory process, providing phlebotomy draws with attention to patient comfort and the physician orders. Timely and accurate processing and documentation of the specimens impact the entire laboratory process.
Outreach phlebotomists travels to different off sites, doctor's offices and community events.
High School Diploma or equivalent required
Completion of a certified phlebotomy program preferred
ASCP certification preferred
6 months experience preferred
