JOB SUMMARY: 

Working as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) at Penn State Health, you are the heart and backbone of patient care. ABOUT PENN STATE HEALTH MEDICAL GROUP ALLERGY, ASTHMA & IMMUNOLOGY 

Location: 200 Campus Drive, Entrance 4, Suite 1300, Hershey PA 

This specialty clinic provides an array of testing and treatments for patients with allergies and asthma. Most visits are with nursing to receive immunology shots. The clinic check-in/check-out and waiting room is shared with Anesthesia Pre-Evaluation Clinic, creating a large team atmosphere of all levels of health care employees. 

Specialties Include: Allergy Testing, Management of Allergies and Asthma, Allergy Injections, Preparation of Serum and Immunology. 

Hours of Operation: Monday-Friday 7:30am-5:00pm

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: 

High School diploma required.

Graduate of an approved school of nursing with current license to practice in the state - of PA or eligible for licensure in PA required. 

BLS required. 

One (1) year experience in an acute or ambulatory care setting preferred. 

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: 

Able to stand & sit constantly; walk frequently. 

Able to lift/carry 0-10 lbs. frequently; 11-50 lbs. occasionally. 

Able to push/pull 0-20 lbs. frequently; 21-75 lbs. occasionally.
