Job Description Summary

The OPP faculty position provides an exciting opportunity to teach OPP and OMT skills in academic lecture style and hands on laboratory format. While the majority of the teaching occurs in the first two years, you will have the opportunity to interface and teach with OSM III and IV through our Rural Health and OMT Clinic. ACOM has a strongly integrated OPP curriculum with excellent collaboration between OPP and other aspects of the medical curriculum. Appointment and rank commensurate with experience.

Job Description

• Within the clinical environment, you will be an active physician on the patient healthcare team.
• You will facilitate medical training for third- and fourth-year students during their rotations in our clinics.
• Clinical practice is expected up to three days per week.
• ACOM supports its faculty in scholarly activity through professional development and opportunities for research collaboration.

Minimum Experience Required

• Clinical experience in specialty

Minimum Experience Preferred

• Experience training medical students or residents in academic setting

Minimum Education Required

• Active board certification from the American Osteopathic Board of Neuromusculoskeletal Medicine (AOBNMM)
• Eligibility for state medical licensure
