St. Luke's Inpatient Pharmacy Teams

• Locations: Boise, Meridian, and Nampa opportunities available
• Hours: Variable shifts Monday through Friday and rotating weekends
  • Night shifts may be available
• Schedules available: Full-time

An Inpatient Pharmacy Technician assists our pharmacists with the preparation and delivery of medications for our patients. Tasks vary in day-to-day scheduling, ranging from:

• Sterile/non-sterile compounding
• Delivering to Automated Dispensing Cabinets at the units
• Preparing immunizations
• Preparing and filling labels in our central pharmacy
• Preparing kits to be delivered to the floor with kit check
• Working with our nursing staff to ensure we are meeting patients' needs

Additional duties of collecting patient medication histories at the bedside to provide the safest, highest quality of care are required for specific departments. An Inpatient Pharmacy Technician works with updated pharmacy technology to assist them in completing tasks quickly, efficiently, and safely.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Valid Idaho Pharmacy Technician License required
• Two (2) years' experience preferred
• Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) preferred
