Patient Care Technician, Medical Surgical 8D
Overview Atlantic Health System is seeking a full time Patient Care Technician for the Surgical Unit at Overlook Medical Center to work 7AM - 7:30PM, including every 3rd weekend.Responsibilities Essential Functions/Responsibilities:Assists patients with basic daily needsCollaborates with the care team Checks patients' blood pressure, pulse Provides compassionate care by listening to patients' concerns and guiding them by answering any questions or concernsMonitoring patients' conditions and providing updates to health-care teamTurning, repositioning and move patients between beds, wheelchairs and seatsHelping patients use the bathroom and dressMonitoring patients' food and liquid intake
