RN - Nurse Manager (SICU/PACU)
The Nurse Manager (NM) is responsible for overseeing the daily functioning of the Surgical Intensive Care Unit (SICU) and Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU), including serving as the designated first-line supervisory authority and being responsible for the 24/7 operation of their assigned units. The NM also functions as a clinical expert and manages all elements of the nursing process when providing or supervising direct patient care. Basic Requirements: English Language Proficiency. In accordance with 38 U.S.C. 7403(f), no person shall serve in direct patient care positions unless they are proficient in basic written and spoken English.
